It's been a long time since our last post because we have had a very busy year. Little Houses has relocated back to Montréal, and we couldn't be happier about it :)

We are also starting the New Year off with new and exciting projects. We have decided to switch over to home decor. We will continue to have our Etsy store for Little Houses, but will be focusing on our new line, Assembly Home Goods.

Men's Line In The Works

It's finally happening... a Little Houses men's line is in progress! And I couldn't be more excited about it.

So far I have made a jacket (will post later) and this wool knit cardigan. It has real genuine leather elbow patches, and 5 anchor buttons down the front.

. . : Spring is in the Air : . .

It's really starting to feel like Spring around here... it's been really warm and the sun has been shining. I'm getting so excited for Summer, so much that I decided it was time to make a Spring/Summer dress. I haven't named it yet, and it is not yet available online... I'm actually not sure when I will be posting it online... probably in the next few weeks.

For all you Vancouverites, you can find this dress at a couple places in the city..

Twigg & Hottie, located at 3671 Main Street @ 21st Avenue

As well as Dream, located at 311 W. Cordova Street in Gastown.

Another Spring addition is the Rue Boyer which is located in my Etsy shop...

It is made of a very thin, lightweight wool suiting... perfect for those cool Spring nights!

The beach was amazing the other day... can't wait till it's 30C outside!

There were so many great little boutiques in Portland, but unfortunately I only grabbed the two business cards of the stores I liked best...

Portland Road Trip

Well, it's official.. Portland is home of the nicest people I've ever met. Seriously. In the four days spent there, I have never come across so many friendly, enthusiastic people. I totally fell in love with that city and I can't wait to go back. We stayed at the Ace Hotel which really made the trip amazing.



Our room was so cozy, I think I would have been happy just hanging out there the whole time.


Pretty excited about the cheap beer and lack of sales tax too... Portland is the best...

I just purchased these pants on Etsy and I am so excited to get them! They are such a great design, very unique.

They are from a new shop called Lindsaylindsay23.


I finally organized my studio space.. it was a disaster for the past 2 months. I moved in right in the middle of the Christmas rush so I had no time to do anything else but sew... I spent the evening last night cleaning and organizing and I'm so excited with the result! It finally feels like a cozy workspace.

I have also been slowly getting my apartment in order since I moved in in October. It's coming along nicely! I love my bedroom.. I could easily just live in here...

I hope to have some new spring designs coming up soon... if I can ever get caught up! I think my focus this season is going to be dresses. Can't wait :)

And then it was Fall...

Lots of changes in the last little while. I left Montreal shortly after my last post and moved back to Vancouver. It's been a bit of an adjustment but I'm loving being back home... just in time for the rainy season!

I was also recently the Featured Seller on Etsy.. thanks Etsy! So needless to say I am busy busy busy... BUT...

Fall is here.. and this just happens to be my favorite time of year!
